Sponsor a Fellow

Every year the Trust receives a large number of high quality applications for its Fellowships and shortlists for interview eight or more scientists, all of whom would be worthy of sponsorship if further funds were available. If you would be interested in sponsoring or part-sponsoring one or more Fellowships, please let us know, and we will be glad to provide more information.

 

Support our outreach work

We are always looking for ways to engage more children through our outreach work and events. You might be able to provide a venue, you might be involved with a local school network or you might wish to offer a donation which can be put towards a specific outreach event. Whatever it may be, we would love to hear from you.

Specifically, you can Sponsor an event for Schools!

The Lindemann Trust runs regular ‘Introduction to Science Days’, offering bite-size and interactive science presentations to state primary school pupils. The presentations are designed to get young people excited about all things science!

Events are for Year 6 pupils, usually with three 20-minute presentations and a short break. The talks are delivered by Lindemann alumni and Research Fellows, skilled at presenting exciting new developments in science to a young audience. As part of the day, the Lindemann Trust provides refreshments and reimburses any travel expenses incurred by the schools.

If you would be interested in sponsoring an event or providing a venue in which a day like this can take place, we’d love to hear from you and welcome informal enquiries. £2500 will cover the cost of one ‘Introduction to Science day’ for up to 150 Year 6 pupils.
